Credit Card Reward Options
A credit cards reward can truly be incredibly valuable, as you are going to be using your credit cards anyway, so if you have rewards placed on top of that just out of nowhere, then that is just extra benefits that you are receiving, which obviously no one is going to complain about.
More on Credit Card Rewards
For the most part, you actually will have at least a couple of different options to choose from when it comes to the credit cards reward selection, and so you can pick and choose from the different options until you find one that would work best for you.
The most common credit card rewards are short breaks or holidays to certain parts of the world, although some credit card companies offer a 'cash back' scheme where a percentage of your spend is refunded onto your card. There are other choices offered by some companies as well, such as discount vouchers or household items in a 'rewards catalog'.
If you share your credit card with someone else, which you should never do to begin with but if you do, then you are obviously going to want to make sure that they are involved in this process as well, so that together the two of you can decide on the reward that would make you the happiest in the end.
Just make sure that you try to keep the amount of credit cards that you have down to the most minimum that you actually require, so that you do not end up having more than you need and thus spending much more money than you should, because this can result in getting you into a lot of trouble if you are not careful.
Credit cards are one of the biggest contributing factors for many people when it comes to getting into debt. The high interest rates and low minimum payments can lead to some people spending more than they should, and taking a very long time to pay it off. It is a good idea to limit the number of cards that you have, and keep the credit limits down to a manageable amount. Always pay off the card in full if possible, so that you do not end up paying a large amount in interest. Also, keep the cards at home unless you know that you will need them while you are out, so that you are not tempted to spend on them without good reason.

I save reward points on my credit card, and also have a loyalty card for the supermarket. The supermarket one is fine, as it just gives me a discount once I've reached so many thousand points. But the Credit Card one is not so good. I've saved thousands of points, but I have to choose from a range of free gifts or vouchers for days out, none of which I want or would use. I think they should stick to just giving you money back as a reward - at least then you get exactly what you want
