Someone would have to cover these things and bring it to the "space tourism for dummies" level for the common man who cannot afford the trip. That person could very well be you. So, you would need to find out a channel or production station that would buy such an idea and offer you the required training and sponsorship. Remember, you have five to ten years to set it all up.

Another great way to be part of the space tourism program is to aim to become a spacecraft pilot. This a little tougher than the first option, but it is a possibility none the less. Check out with the NASA in the USA or contact other space stations in Europe and see what their requirements for such positions are. According to some reports, there is a growing demand for space craft pilots and you could just land yourself with a major career change.

For The Rest Of US, There Is Virtual Reality

Virtual reality is a good option for those who want the experience space travel without any of the risks involved or having to part with millions of dollars for the trip. You can do amazing things with the computers today and very soon you would be able to experience space tourism in controlled environment without lifting an inch away from Earth. This would cost a tiny fraction of the real thing – and still offer you an amazing insight about this adventure.

The least probable but a possibility none the less, would be that you win a lottery – and in case you still want to part with the money, you could then buy a seat on the space shuttle that offers a trip into the space in the future.
