Who Else Loves Travel Nursing?

Combining your nursing job with exciting travel would be a dream come through for anyone.  Rose Lindy is a travel nurse who lives that dream every day.

I love travel nursing. With travel nursing I'm not stuck in one
place, and my employment takes me places I wouldn't be able to
travel if I didn't have a job to take me there. Travel nursing
allows me to meet new people, and see new places, and the
wonderful thing is that with this [tag-ice]nursing job[/tag-ice] I get to decide
how long I stay.

I love [tag-tec]travel nursing[/tag-tec]. I get paid premium wages, excellentbenefits, and I even get free quality, company housing with many of my jobs. I never have to pay the rent. I don't have heating bills, electric bills, or any of the normal household expenses most people have, so travel nursing allows me to make good
money, and also save it for the future when I do decided to
settle down.

However, I love travel nursing so much, I don't know if I will
ever go to a regular nursing job where I am stuck at one place,
basing my hours and vacations, and life on other people's
schedules. I love travel nursing because I can choose where and
when, and the only thing that stops me is availability of the
nursing position where I want to be.

The thing I love most about being a [tag-cat]travel nurse[/tag-cat] is that it is so indemand these days. I can spend a week in California, by thebeach, and the next month do a long stay in Vermont and ski themountains. Travel nursing gives me flexibility I never dreamedof when I was studying to become a nurse, and that's why I love that I made travel nursing my career choice.
