Before you head to the store to buy yourself some new luggage, why not read a few luggage reviews online so that you can make a more informed decision?  Good quality luggage is hard to find, and if you are a frequent traveler it is one of the most important purchases you will make.  There are lots of reviews available on travel web sites as well as consumer focused web sites, so you should be able to find lots of information about the brands that you are considering buying.

Most manufacturers will have testimonials on your web site, but you should remember that testimonials are printed because they are favorable – you should always look for objective reviews from people who have bought the product and then put it to use – if a holidaymaker says that a bag fell apart after one journey, then that should make you question the quality of the product. When someone only travels once in a blue moon, like every ten years, there may not be any need to shell out the money for exclusive luggage. But for a lot of people, travel is apart of their everyday lives whether it is for work purposes or for keeping in touch with friends and family. There are a lot of reasons to dish out the money for the higher end exclusive luggage but none is more important then the safety of what is inside.

When you have a cheap luggage set, you are running the risk of it falling apart and not holding up to typical wear. This means that whatever you have inside is always at risk of being damaged in one way or another. If your personal belongings are important enough to you, you may want to consider investing in high quality exclusive luggage. After all, luggage sets are more then just about safety but also about style. When you purchase exclusive luggage sets, you are saying to everyone that both are important to you. Read more

Other than trying to convince other travelers that your luggage is worth more than it really is, there is another reason people buy fake designer luggage. For some travelers, making an impression on their fellow travelers is important, but there are some who hang out in luggage pick-up areas scrounging for bags that look like their contents may be expensive. Even if the fake designer luggage is stolen, you are still out your contents, but the value of the luggage will not increase the monetary amount of your loss.

Fake Designer Luggage: The Downside

There is a major downside to the availability of fake designer luggage, which is the uninformed buyer ending up paying considerably more than the cheap knockoffs are worth. Unless you do your homework and know what to look for in a designer bag, you could end up paying a premium price for fake designer luggage and until someone else points out it is not real, you may have no way of knowing. Personalized luggage tags are almost essential these days.  With so many people flying, it can be almost impossible to pick out your 'small black suitcase with a grey bit at the top' – everyone else has a similar suitcase, and finding your case amongst the sea of similar ones just adds stress to the journey.  Most suitcases come with a luggage tag, but it is typically made of a similar leather or plastic to the suitcase itself, and is not easy to spot when you are in a hurry.

Personalized luggage tags can make it a lot easier for you to spot your luggage – they are usually brightly colored and easy to spot from a distance.  They are strong enough to withstand the abuse that they will get when they are transported from place to place.  Make sure that the tag you buy will be tough enough that it won't get ripped off by the conveyor belts that the airport staff use, and try to choose a color that contrasts against the baggage you will be using, so that it is nice and easy to identify. Millions of people visit an airport, and take a flight, each day.  People fly for numerous reasons, be it a business trip, a visit to their loved ones, or a holiday.  Packing for a flight is a little different to packing for a road trip, as there are many more rules to consider.  Unfortunately, many travelers run in to problems because they do not know what things to take with them, and what things are best left at home.

If you are gearing up for your next trip, you are advised to carefully choose the items that you are planning on bringing along with you. This includes items that will be packed in your checked baggage, in addition to your carry-on luggage.  Not only should you be thinking about convenience, but you should also be thinking about air travel rules, namely the rules that specify which items or materials are allowed aboard an airplane and which ones are not. Should You Carry a Motion Sickness Bag?

Motion sickness is a highly unpleasant affliction which can ruin the travelling experience for people who suffer from it.  It can affect people using a variety of forms of transport, including cars, buses, trains, boats and even planes – especially if there is turbulence on your flight.  For many sufferers, the embarrassment of needing to vomit in a vehicle, but not having anywhere to do it without making a mess, can be a worse feeling than the motion sickness itself.  It is wise, therefore, for people who suffer frequently to carry a motion sickness bag just in case.   Read more

Most travelers are aware  of the [tag-tec]carry-on-luggage[/tag-tec] restrictions that apply to  liquids, gels and aerosols.  The carry-on rules are pretty strict.  For example,  you are allowed containers of no more than 3 ounces.  In addition each passenger's items must be placed in a single, clear, quart-size, zip-top plastic bag.  For many  travelers this can be a real hassle.  For most of us who simply prefer not to check our bags, the alternative is to stock up on trial sized shampoos, lotions, and other basic cosmetics.
