Traveling independently is a great way for seniors to see the world, gain confidence, and have fun at the same time.

Seniors today have more disposable income, as well as more time.  They also tend to be more active, and able to do more than seniors of previous generations.  Because of this, is very popular, with people deciding to see the places they wanted to while they were younger, but were unable to because of family or work commitments.

Where To Go

Perhaps you have an idea where you want to go already – you may want to visit somewhere that you've always been interested in, or somewhere that you have seen in films and always wanted to see for real.  If you aren't sure where you want to go, however, then you could pick your independent travel destination based on other criteria – for example what the weather is like, or the kinds of food you could expect there.  Read more
