Most companies that offer insurance policies offer a variety of different insurance policies, including trailer travel insurance, so for this reason your first port of call should be your usual insurer.  Trailer travel insurance can cover anything from family RVs to eighteen wheeler trailers.  The policy will usually cover you for the items the trailer holds, as well as the trailer itself, and should cover you for loss of the trailer, or damage through an accident.
