Curing or Preventing Motion Sickness
Motion sickness is something that a great deal of people suffer from to one degree or another, and most will agree that it can ruin a trip. Motion sickness is caused by the inner ear and the eye sending different signals to the brain – the eye sees that the body is stationary, but the inner ear detects movement – a rocking or vibration motion, for example. This makes the brain assume that the body has been poisoned, and kicks in a defense mechanism to expel the poison through vomiting. Read more
