An Overview of Motion Sickness Drugs
Motion sickness is not really a sickness in the common sense of the word – rather than being something you can 'catch', motion sickness is caused by the environment you are in – if your ears and your eyes are sending different reports to the brain – for example your eyes seeing you being stationary in your cabin, but the ear feeling the boat you are on rocking, then the brain will decide you are hallucinating, and make you vomit to try to remove the hallucinogenic substance it thinks you have ingested from the body.
