Motion sickness is something that many people, adults and children alike, can suffer from. It is caused by the brain receiving different signals from the ears and eyes regarding movement.  If the eyes detect motion, but the inner ear cannot sense any movement, then the brain assumes you are hallucinating, and tries to enact a defense mechanism which makes you feel nauseous.

There are many motion sickness remedies on the market now, and while they are not suitable for all people or circumstances, you should be able to find something that will enable you to enjoy a journey on a plane, boat, or car. Read more
