While everyone will agree that it is important to get away from it all every now and then, finding something that both of you will enjoy can sometimes be a little more problematic, especially if you both have very different interests.  Sometimes when you are planning a weekend getaway you can get caught up in what you would like to do, and forget to think about if your partner would enjoy it too.  If you are not able to get away frequently, then it is especially important to make sure that you will both enjoy the holiday.

Most couples will readily agree that they need some time alone, away from kids, work and other responsibilities and will go over many romantic weekend ideas before choosing one.
